Q‑KON Forms Tripartite Alliance to Expand IoT Services in South Africa

Q-KON has formed a strategic three-way alliance with Guodian Gaoke and StarWin to launch Tianqi LEO satellite-powered IoT services in South Africa. Q-KON will act as the authorized local service provider, Guodian Gaoke will supply the Tianqi LEO constellation, and StarWin will deliver certified ground terminals.

The partnership combines advanced satellite technology with local market expertise to support South Africa’s digital strategy and drive industrial modernization. The new IoT-LEO service will enhance connectivity across key sectors such as agriculture, mining, transport, logistics, energy, marine, and emergency services—strengthening productivity, competitiveness, and sustainable economic growth.
