Q-KON and Rivada Partner to Bring Outernet Connectivity to Africa

Q-KON and Rivada Space Networks have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to deliver next-generation satellite connectivity across Africa and beyond. Q-KON will use Rivada’s advanced Outernet, a secure Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite network, to enhance data resiliency, network performance, and cybersecurity for critical enterprises such as banks, financial institutions, and security-sensitive sectors. The Outernet provides multi-gigabit, low-latency, bi-directional connectivity with global coverage, creating a secure, private communications network where data stays in space from origin to destination.
