07 Nov Q-KON and Avanti Communications to Showcase Advanced Hybrid Network Solutions at Africa Tech Festival 2024
Cape Town, 2024 – Q-KON, a leader in satellite technology solutions and Smart Satellite Services provider, is proud to announce an expanded partnership with Avanti Communications, enhancing connectivity options across southern Africa. This collaboration already enables Avanti to offer Twoobii-OneWeb LEO services in addition to their current GEO services, and now this partnership extension allows for a Hybrid Network Solution. This new Hybrid Solution allows for both technologies to be connected, for different applications, all within one SLA, revolutionising connectivity for organisations in the region.
The advanced technology will be showcased at Africa Tech Festival, set to take place in Cape Town from 12 – 14 November 2024. Visitors to Avanti’s stand (B72, near the AfricaCom Centre stage) will have the opportunity to experience real-time demonstrations and a live load balancing link to show the performance and seamless connectivity capabilities of these GEO, LEO, and Hybrid Network services.
“We are excited to demonstrate the power and versatility of this Hybrid Network Solution,” said Hendrik Bezuidenhout, Q-KON Account Director: Key Accounts. “This partnership with Avanti marks a significant milestone in providing robust and reliable connectivity solutions, tailored to meet the evolving needs of businesses across southern Africa.”
Toby Robinson, Chief of Strategy & Business Development at Avanti Communications, covers the benefits of this technology in a recently released white paper titled Meeting Customer Needs with Tailored GEO, LEO and Hybrid Network Solutions.
